OASIS+ Marketing & PR Awards Are Finally Rolling Out + Free Mentor-Protégé Webinar
After months of anticipation, the first awards under the OASIS+ Marketing & Public Relations Domain have finally been announced.
Congratulations to PCI Productions and Timothy J Londagin LLC on becoming the first two awardees. Based on our understanding, GSA intends to continue making awards on a rolling basis, so we expect many additional firms to be announced over the coming weeks and months.
For agencies pursuing federal growth, OASIS+ represents one of the most significant professional services contract vehicles in the marketplace. As agencies position themselves for OASIS+, the next generation of GWACs, and other large contract vehicles, we're also seeing renewed interest in another federal growth strategy: the SBA Mentor-Protégé Program.
Over the past several months, inquiries about the program have increased significantly. As competition intensifies, more agencies are exploring Mentor-Protégé relationships to expand capabilities, strengthen past performance, pursue larger opportunities, and build long-term strategic partnerships.
Within the marketing communications industry, this is no longer a niche strategy. Many of the sector's leading firms—including Fors Marsh, Aptive Resources, Crosby Marketing Communications, and VML—have successfully leveraged the program, with many maintaining one or more protégés as part of their long-term growth strategy.
To help agencies better understand how to maximize the program's value, GrowthLab will be hosting a free webinar covering:
How the SBA Mentor-Protégé Program works
Eligibility requirements and common misconceptions
Strategies for identifying the right mentor or protégé
Best practices for structuring successful partnerships
Lessons learned from more than 60 executed Mentor-Protégé Agreements
GrowthLab has now advised on 60+ SBA Mentor-Protégé Agreements—more than any other advisory firm focused on the government marketing communications marketplace—and we'll share practical insights and real-world examples from those engagements.
